James writes because it allows him to transport himself to a unique world. For him, the Horror and Mystery genres offer the best escapes. Some notable works from James Hancock include a published short story Reap Dance in the bestselling horror anthology Secret Stairs and the winning horror story Halloween Uncertainty in a Halloween Flash Fiction contest held by Bienvenue Press. James is active in the local writing community with multiple short stories published in the Mobile Writer’s Guild Anthology Pieces series. James recently had a short story the Customer is Always Right published by Z Publishing House.
